I am a photographer, filmmaker and audio/visual artist with a lifetime of experience in the artistic communications field. Born in Pennsylvania, I started "Michael A. Fitch Productions"

 

I am pleased to say that my diverse work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally and taken me from Eilat, Israel to The British Museum of Natural History in London for the National Audubon Society Award winning film "Return From Forever - The Pennsylvania Osprey Reintroduction Project", to "inside the ropes" at "The Open Golf Championship" (still photography) to the Tramway Theatre in Glasgow as Executive Director of Infinity Dance Theatre's presentation of "Scotland's Heroes".

 

 I have also had the opportunity to work with a myriad  of iconic sports personas, producing DVD’s of their achievements and with classic  Rock and Roll bands to prepare accompanying music videos.

As an artist, my first love is photography followed by my love of the moving image. "Capturing a moment in time and the feeling that goes with the image is an incredible joy".

I am the winner of many awards, (including Best Cinematographer, Director and Writer of "Return From Forever" from the National Audubon Society), I have most recently received "International Aperture Merit Awards" for photography in both 2008 and 2009, The Yarrow Cup in 2015, the Ian Mitchell Trophy for Landscape Photography in 2016 and the Borders Exhibition "Best in Class" for Black and White in 2017. In 2018 -The Selkirk Spectrum Shield and Galashiels "Borders Agricultural Trophies and Awards and Many others!

   I have also exhibited my work at many galleries.
